Do you want to have fun with a new English exercise?

Hello,

Are you having fun today?

I am sure you know the words “fun” and “funny”.

Fun is often used as a noun…for example:

I am having lots of fun!

Funny is always used as an adjective…for example:

My teacher is very funny!

But did you know that fun can also be used as an adjective?

Look at our phrase of the day to see an example…

You’re so much fun!!!

The word “fun” acts as an adjective in this sentence…

It is describing “you” and saying that you are the type of person I can have lots of fun with.

Try to use this phrase next time you meet someone fun…

And remember to have lots of fun learning English!

Best regards,

Marta
