You’ve probably seen scenes in films or T.V. shows of people gathered around a bonfire or a fireplace with skewersin their hands and white, puffy things at the tips of them.
The white, puffy things are marshmallows and they are traditional to roast over a fire, especially when you are with friends or family. These roasted marshmallows become soft and liquid-like, and are then placed on top of a chocolate square which is then placed on top of a graham cracker.
Marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers are the components of a s’more. S’mores are usually eaten as a snack of dessert when camping or elsewhere in which bonfires are made.
They’re fun and easy to make! If you’d like to try this at home, you can put the whole s’more in the microwave for a few seconds to simulate a similar effect.
