How does the Mini Course work?

  • If you are registered with the Online English course (subscription):

    The mini course is a summary of all the English grammar appearing in the English course. It is "a course inside the course". It is a great invention which will help you during all your learning, as it will give you a perfect vision of all English grammar.

What you will find in the 144 units and as you learn English progressively, is summarized in the seven grammatical themes of the mini course: adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, verbs, phrasal verbs.

The mini course is also a tool used to review things for those who already speak English.

The mini course can be used as follows:

    • To consult any grammatical theme, click on the corresponding section
    • Note that most of the phrases from the mini course are new examples that you haven't seen in the units. That is why it is useful to hear them as well as you can record and compare your English for more practice.
    • To listen to a phrase, place the cursor on it, and click on the left button of the mouse.
    • To record the phrase, place the cursor on it and keep the left button of the mouse pressed. A microphone with waves will appear. Keep the button pressed while you record. When you release the button, you will automatically hear what you just have recorded, and then the voice of the character so you can compare it with your voice.
    • To compare, click with the right button of the mouse on the phrase. You will automatically hear your recorded and then, the voice of the speaker.
    • When you record a word or a phrase, it turns into bold letters so you can know that it has already been recorded and you will always be able to hear your voice by clicking on it with the right button of the mouse.
