How should I study the course?

ABA English is a complete course of English in six levels: Beginners, Lower Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced and Business.

Each level is comprised of 24 units. Each unit deals with a situation (as an example, a day at the beach), and this situation is studied and analyzed in 8 different sections.

These sections are :

  • Situation - You watch and hear the situation animated in English, it is the basis of each unit and It is available with or without subtitles
  • Study - You read the texts of the situation, and then its extend to other contexts. You read and record the situation in English.
  • Dictation - You write the situation in English following a dictation. You write in English.
  • Role play - You play the role of each of the characters present in the situation. You record in English " like an actor in the theatre".
  • Grammar - You study the grammar related to the unit, both studying and recording in English.
  • Writing - You do the written exercises corresponding to the grammar of each unit. You write in English and record what you have written.
  • New words - You see and listen to all the words which appeared for the first time in the unit. You record and learn how to pronounce these words.
  • Speaking - You do oral exercises referring to the grammar of the unit.

The English course is conceived for those who want to improve their total knowledge of English, through a study method allowing the student to work in English whenever and wherever they want.

    • Glossary – Composed of 5,000 words appearing in the ABA English course translated into eight different languages. By clicking the screen you listen how it is necessary to pronounce them. It is an audio vocabulary.
    • Mini course - It is a summary of the English grammar. With this, you can see all the grammar for any unit. There are also new examples to further diversify your vocabulary, ans you can use the Intonation recording service with these words as well.
    • Follow-up - A detailled graph of your learning, which you can use to follow your learning process. You will know what you miss in every exercise to end a unit. Through this section, you can send the unit to your teacher.
    • Questions - It is the way to send writen questions to the ABA English teachers, and read their answers. When the teacher answers you back, the button will be red and will blink until you have read it.

    • Follow-up - A detailled graph of your learning, which you can use to follow your learning process. You will know what you miss in every English exercise to end a unit.
    • Unfortunately, you cannot take advantage besides of Added services, because they are not available in the version of the course you chose.
