How should I study in the New Words exercise?

In this section you will find all the new words of the unit.

In the bottom portion, you can see the number of words of the unit and the number of words that you have learned since the first unit.

In the first unit, all the words are new. That is why you will find a very long list - 131 words -, but in the other units the average is about 33 words per unit.

To do the exercise, you must do the Intonation, just like in the other exercises.

  • 1 - LISTEN: To listen to a phrase, place the cursor on it and click on the left button of the mouse.
  • 2 - RECORD: To record the phrase, place the cursor on it but, instead of clicking on it, keep the left button of the mouse pressed. A microphone image with waves will appear, this indicates that you are recording. Keep the button pressed while you are recording. As you release the button, you will automatically hear what you have just recorded, followed by the voice of the character, so you can compare both voices.
  • 3 - COMPARE: To compare, right click on the phrase with the mouse. You will automatically hear your recorded voice, and just after the speaker's voice.

When you record a word or a phrase, the letters become in bold to indicate that you have already recorded it. And you are able to hear what you have recorded every time you right click on it with the mouse.

You will see beside each word a note in italics showing what kind of word it is:
