Koşul türleri

Sıfır Koşul (Zero Conditional)

If + özne + geniş zaman fiil, özne + geniş zaman fiil

Gördüğünüz gibi, her iki cümlenin fiilleri de geniş zamanda kullanılır.

• If you walk under the rain, you get wet. (Yağmur altında yürürsen ıslanırsın.)

Birinci Koşul (First Conditional)

Birinci koşul, gelecekte mümkün olan bir koşul ve muhtemel sonucu hakkında konuşmak için kullanılır.

Yapmak için aşağıdaki yapı kullanılır:

If + özne + geniş zaman fiil, özne + will/won’t + fiilin yalın hali

Bu durumda, koşul cümlesinin fiili geniş zamanda, sonuç cümlesinin fiili ise will ile gelecek zamanda olur.

Üçüncü Koşul (Third Conditional)

Bu bağlaçlar, “will”, “would” ve “could” modal fiilleriyle kullanılır. Bu bağlaçlar olasılık ve koşullarla ilgilidir:

• He won’t go unless she goes with him. (O, o olmadan gitmez.)
